You’re exploring a demo. “Maple Street Garage Sale,” its listings, customers, and orders are sample data. Temporary Home Garage Sales is coming soon.

See how Temporary Home helps you list your finds, organize your sale, and give shoppers more ways to buy — all from one place.
This is a demo with sample data. Garage Sales is not live yet — nothing here is a real listing or order.

The Alvarez Family
Closet clean-outs, hand-me-ups, and household extras from one St. Peters family
Sellers share their garage sale link with their own shoppers — and the same listings show up when Temporary Home shoppers browse the marketplace.
Turn your closet clean-outs and household extras into a garage sale shoppers can browse online — and use the same tools to keep your in-person sale organized.
Presentation Mode is for recording the walkthrough; it does not generate a finished video file. Speak the narration; perform the action cue on each step.
1. Set up your garage sale
Narration: Start by setting up your garage sale — add a name, a short story, and how shoppers get their items. The same tools support an online sale, a driveway sale, or both at once.
Action: Show the Sale Setup tab and edit the sale name.
2. Create a listing
Narration: Create a listing by adding photos and letting AI suggest a title, category, and condition. You review every suggestion before it goes live — and you can list far more than children’s clothing.
Action: Click “Get AI suggestions”, review, then publish.
3. Manage your inventory
Narration: Keep your inventory organized: search and filter, edit prices inline, archive items you’ve sold elsewhere, export a CSV, and bundle items together so shoppers can buy a group in one click.
Action: Search, edit a price, export CSV, then open Bundle.
4. The shopper experience
Narration: On the shopper side, people browse your sale, open any listing, and see their purchase options. You can share your garage sale link with your own customers — and the same items also appear in Temporary Home browsing.
Action: Switch to Storefront; open a listing.
5. Choose shipping options
Narration: Choose how shipping works: a simple flat rate per order, calculated shipping from measured weights and the buyer’s address, or shipping off for pickup only. Shipping is separate from the eighty-twenty item split.
Action: Open Shipping; switch between the three modes.
6. Run a physical garage sale
Narration: At a physical sale, print QR labels for your items, then simulate a checkout. The sold item is automatically removed from your online inventory so it can’t sell twice. If something sells elsewhere, archive it the same way.
Action: Open QR Labels; then run a simulated checkout.
7. Orders and earnings
Narration: Track orders and earnings. You keep eighty percent of each item’s price; Temporary Home keeps twenty percent and covers payment processing. Shipping is handled separately. Mark orders fulfilled as they go out.
Action: Open Orders; mark an order fulfilled.
8. Your next step
Narration: When Garage Sales is live, you’ll open your own sale from here. Until then, leave your email to be notified at launch.
Action: Land on the interest signup CTA.
